How do I know if my business is high-risk?

Industries are classified as high-risk primarily due to their higher likelihood of chargebacks, fraud, legal complications, and regulatory issues. These factors make traditional banks and payment processors wary of offering services due to increased financial risks and the potential for reputational damage.

Application and Account Setup

What does the setup process involve when I bring my own Stripe account?

When you bring your own Stripe account, the setup process includes linking your Stripe with our BridgePay system. We’ll need access to your website’s dashboard and the Stripe API keys (Publishing Key and Secret Key). We then set up an intermediary (bridge site) to process payments securely.

What access do you need to my website and payment systems to integrate BridgePay?

To integrate BridgePay, we need access to your main site’s WordPress or Shopify dashboard. If you’re using your own Stripe account, we also need access to the bridge site’s domain and Stripe API keys. We use this access to configure and test the payment flow to ensure everything is set up for secure transactions.

Why is it mandatory to use your development team for the BridgePay setup?

Using our development team for the BridgePay setup is mandatory to ensure that the integration meets our security and operational standards. The bridge site acts as a secure intermediary, processing transactions between your main site and Stripe. It helps manage and mask payments, reducing risks related to payment shutdowns.

How do you connect the main site to the bridge site for transactions?

We link your main site to the bridge site using the Bpay API, allowing transaction redirection to the bridge site where payments are securely processed.
